The WiFi Certification Readiness Assessment is AssureSQ's structured service that evaluates your enterprise wireless network against the specific criteria used in Ookla Speedtest Certified validation. Rather than a general WiFi audit, this assessment is purpose-built to identify gaps that would prevent certification and provide a clear path to readiness.

We bridge the gap between wireless design (Ekahau) and real-world performance validation (Ookla Speedtest Certified). Our assessment combines design-level analysis with real-world testing to give you a complete picture of where your network stands and what it needs to pass certification.

Gap Analysis

The gap analysis is the core deliverable of the readiness assessment. We systematically compare your current wireless network performance against each Ookla Speedtest Certified criterion and document every deficiency with specific, actionable remediation guidance.

Assessment Methodology

Our four-step methodology combines Ekahau-based wireless design analysis with real-world performance testing to provide a complete view of certification readiness.

• Step 1 — Scoping & Planning: We work with your team to understand the facility layout, network architecture, user density patterns and business requirements. We define the scope of areas to be assessed and schedule the on-site survey to capture representative conditions.
• Step 2 — Ekahau Wireless Survey: Our engineers conduct on-site wireless surveys using Ekahau Sidekick and Ekahau AI Pro. We capture RF measurements, generate heat maps and document the physical wireless environment including AP locations, antenna types and mounting configurations.
• Step 3 — Real-World Performance Testing: Beyond the design-level survey, we conduct real-world testing using multiple client devices. Throughput tests, latency measurements, roaming tests and application-specific performance assessments under varying load conditions. This captures the actual user experience that certification evaluates.
• Step 4 — Analysis & Reporting: We consolidate survey data and performance measurements, conduct the gap analysis against certification criteria and produce the full deliverable set. We present findings to your team and walk through the remediation roadmap to ensure clarity on next steps.
